This beautiful Suite has a spacious double bedroom with a big double bed or twins, a living room with a fully equipped kitchen and the dining area and a bathroom. The entire Suite has parquet floor, bathroom has fine Italian percelain and black Marquinia marble. Furnishings are modern and by famous designers (Philippe Starck, Vico Magistretti) or tailor made by Florentine crafstmen in a modern and clean style.

The Suite is right in the city centre (with double glazed St. Gobain windows), eveything is nearby: three supermarkets, pharmacy and bank, hair dresser, bakerym restaurants and cafes and of course the main museums as the Academy Gallery with the David by Michelangiolo, just 2 minutes away by foot, the main cathedral (Duomo), 3 minutes away, the Uffizi Gallery, 10 minutes away, the Palazzo Medici Riccardi, 7 minutes away.

Car is not needed, but in case you are coming by car, you have access to the limited traffic area as a Guest of us and we can provide a private garage service with valet at the cost of 31.00 EUR/day (public parking in the city centre are much more expensive, starting from 48 €/day).

Local Amenities and Activities

In Florence you can visit many museums and historical places, but there's also a large shopping area, the entire city centre, wher to find big brands and also small boutiques from less famous brands, but with pure Italian design and manifacturing. Also, the leather areas (S. Ambrogio and S. Lorenzo) worth a visit and we will be happy to give you some tips on how to choose your leather bag or jacket. Local products as prosciutto, cheese and wine can be purchased in some local stores but you could also decide to ask us for a small group or private tour to the Chianti area, the beautiful countryside surrounding Florence where you can visit cellars and vineyards and have wine and oil tasting too.

Some suggested excursions are also: Siena and San Gimignano (full day), Pisa (half day), Lucca (half or full day), Arezzo (half day), The Mall outlet centre (half day.....if there are no women!).

We also have many other activities to suggest you, you will never get tired and Florence, even if small, is a highly "concentrated" city where you could spend months having always something to do.

Check in / Check out times

Check-in time is from 3 pm to 7 pm. In case you wish to arrive in a different time slot, we are always at your assistance, but we ask to be informed in advance and to have your flight/train details. In case you are coming by car, we request an approximate arrival time and to be called on to the emergency numbers (available 24/365 for our Guests) when you get out from the highway so that someone will be ready to welcome you.

Check-out time is from 11 am to noon.

We can call and reserve taxis for you and organize private transfers, please, do not hesitate to ask.

Early check-in and late check-out cannot be guarantee, but we will do our best, depending on the availability, to satisfy your requests.

We do have a storage where to lock your bags waiting for your Suite to be ready or waiting your departure time.

Airports / Sea Ports / Other Transport

Airport is 7 Km away. A shuttle brings you to the central station and a 15 minutes walk to us. Otherwise a taxi from the airport costs 20.00 EUR (fixed rate) + extra for early morning or late evening ride + 1 €/bag.

Driving directions (from airport or sea port)

To come to the Hilda easily, take the exit Firenze Sud (if you come from the north, continue to Rome to find the exit).
At the traffic light a few minutes after the toll, turn left and go ahead on the main road for a few minutes, even when it turns slightly on the right at the traffic light in front of the Hotel Mediterraneo (Lungarno del Tempio turning in Viale G. Amendola) , on you right side.
Pass on the square (Piazza Beccaria) with the medieval tower in the middle, at the second square (Piazzale Donatello) with a small historical cemetery in the middle, turn around the cemetery as to go back. Once you are on the other side of the cemetery, turn right (Via Alfieri) at the traffic light (directions to the hospital S. Maria Nuova and to the centre) and then:

first on the right (via Giusti)
first on the left (borgo Pinti)
first on the right (via della Colonna)

first on the left (via della Pergola)

Straight down to the end of the street, then right (entering in Via Sant’Egidio) and again the first on the right: You are arrived in via dei Servi. The Hilda is at the very end, on the other way hand, so, once at the STOP, at the corner with Via Alfani , turn right and then immediately left (Via dei Fibbiai) , left (Piazza S.S. Annunziata and left again (Via dei Servi)

We are right in front of the self service wash&dry (green and white sign) at the civic number 40 black.

Policies & Disclaimers

City tax is NEVER included in the rate and is 4 €/person/day from 10 years old and for a maximum of 10 consecutive nights. All toher taxes (VAT) are included in the rate.

All the utilities, with the exception of the telephone, are included in the rate.

Reservation must be guaranteed by a crdit card or fully prepaid.
