Driving directions (from airport or sea port)

Arrival from Chania airport:

Please come out of the airport and after 250 meters the main road bears to the Left, follow this road to the end, at the stop sign and the T-junction, turn right and follow that road for aprox. 5 km, you will see a sign for SOUDA. Take the left fork here and drive along the edge of the mountain, you will see the bay of Souda on your left and the ferries in dock, carry on this winding road till you see a kiosk on your left hand side and a crossroads 20 metres further, go straight till you reach a set of traffic lights.

Turn right at the lights and follow this road for 350 metres, move to your left and turn left when you see the sign for the national highway, go for aprox. 450 metres and you will see the highway bridge in front of you, take the exit here sign posted "Kissamos" and join the national highway west.

Take the 4th exit out marked Platanias. Turn right to the sea, after 500m please turn right again (do not go straight). After 600m you should turn left (west) towards the village of Gerani. Follow this main seaside road for 2.350 m to the west. A few meters after Aegean Palace Hotel (*****) please turn right for 250m, and then left for 300m. At this point there is a small road to the south (for about 20m only) leading to the villa Susana. The keys will be left under the carpet in front of the main door/entrance of the villa.

Arrival from Heraklion airport:

Please beware that the speed restrictions vary along the National Road so keep watch for the signs indicating the speed limit. Traffic police with speed cameras are a regular sight between Heraklion and Rethymnon.

After having the car RESET YOUR KM CLOCK. With the airport building behind you, drive up to the traffic lights and straight over leaving the airport car park on your right. You will pass a sign reading Heraklion on your right. (0.2km). Turn right onto the slip road. (0.6km).Follow the signs to Rethymno and the National road E75.You are now on the National road the speed limit is 90km per hour. Continue on the National Road heading towards Rethymnon. Driving on the national road, leave behind Rethymno and go on the direction to Chania. After leaving behind Chania, follow the new National Road from Chania to Kissamos.
