The position of the villa is offering panoramic views across the village, the olive trees in the valley below to Souda Bay, the White mountains and the house has been cleverly designed in a way that is enabling gorgeous views from almost every room. For the walls, archways and crazy paving on the extensive terraces of the villa the owner has used creamy local stone. The villa is about 10 minutes away by foot from the village centre which is full of life and is giving to the guests the opportunity to buy all the essential during their stay and to enjoy delicious and inexpensive meals in the local taverns, under the mulberry trees on the village square.

Villa Thyestes offers excellent flexibility of accommodation and is therefore a superb choice for larger parties, sharing families, or groups of friends who are looking to holiday together while still retaining the option of privacy and independence, as the ground floor has a separate entrance from the other 2 floors of the villa. The guests have the option of renting the 2 main floors without the ground floor (which can remain locked). The interior throughout is bright and well equipped with comfortable and modern furnishings with eye-catching fabrics in a combination of colours that is perfect for relaxing summer living.

On the ground floor (self-contained apartment) there are 2 bedrooms (1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom), an open plan living room/dining area/kitchen, one bathroom and an outside dining terrace (close to the parking area). On the middle floor of the villa there is a living room/dinning area, a kitchen and a bathroom. On the upper floor there are 2 bedrooms (1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom), a bathroom and two open balconies, both of which look out over the entire area to the bay and mountains. All modern comforts have been provided at the villa, including Wi-Fi internet service, satellite TV, DVD players, 2 dishwashers and 2 washing machines, air conditioning units in all the bedrooms and the living rooms. There is a fireplace in the main living room, and the A/C units also double up as heaters for the cooler nights at the start and end of the season. The modern bathroom and shower rooms are all beautifully tiled and the water is heated by either solar panel or a back-up immersion heater.
