You can also visit the Samaria gorge, Ancient Aptera, the Stilos springs the Kiliari river the kourna lake the surrounding scenic villages with friendly locals, the ancient churches and the peace ful beaches of Kalives, Keras, Almirida and Georgioupolis which lie just 5 or 15 minutes away. The holiday maker can also visit the towns of Rethimnon and Hania with their old neighbourhoods and Venetian castles and harbours which are just 20 or 30 minutes away and which have a lively nightlife. The villa is also only ten minutes from supermarkets, restaurants, coffee bars, banks and health centres and 200 meters from the villas in the old school there is a tennis court and a playground.
