Villa Stone House is located in the picturesque fishing village Sumartin, on the southeast cape of the island of Brac, just 10 meters from the sea and beautiful pebble beaches. Sumartin was founded in 1646 by refugees from Makarska who had fled on ships from Turks. A century old house built on the waterfront and entirely made of the famous Brac stone will captivate you at first glance and as soon as you make a step into its stone-paved yard, you will feel a strong presence of old tradition and Dalmatian history that took place in these areas and that is still alive in this wonderful Dalmatian stone. The proximity to the sea, that is just a few meters from Villa, makes this beautiful edifice meets the wonderful scents of the sea and the amazing sounds of sea waves. Wealth of scents and sounds perfectly matched with extraordinary interior rich with numerous antique instances, with many details in combination with modern technology and equipment will make your stay here a truly unforgettable and unique experience.
Villa Stone House consists of spacious estate and accommodation complex made up of two buildings that are the main house and the guest house. Villa Stone House has 4 bedrooms, number of beds: 8, 3 bathrooms, 1 toilet and is suitable accommodation for 8 people. The main house of Villa Stone House occupies two floors that are ground floor and first floor (attic).
The entrance to the estate of Villa Stone House and the main accommodation facility is only a few meters from the beach and it takes you to a vast property, more specifically in the ground floor area of main house where you will find a living room that is decorated in beautiful traditional Dalmatian style whose most prominent feature is certainly a beautiful wall completely made of Brac stone. The living room is equipped with a sitting garniture, irresistible fireplace and with latest technology. In the left corner of this spacious dining room there is a dining area with beautiful wooden dining garniture that fully complies with a beautiful interior design present in living room area. On the ground floor of the main house of Villa Stone House there is a modern, fully equipped kitchen and guest toilet. On the first floor there are three comfortably furnished bedrooms with double beds, which offer a magnificent view of the beautiful environment and the authentic, untouched nature. On the first floor there are also two modern bathrooms. Guest house is beautifully designed accommodation facility, which consists of ground floor and a gallery.
In the ground floor area of the guest house there is fully equipped modern kitchen, dining room, beautifully decorated living room and bathroom. In the gallery of the guest house there is a bedroom with a king-size bed and the whole gallery area is designed as a wonderful sleeping area that offers an amazing view of the unique environment, garden, sea and picturesque Franciscan monastery in the distance. Spacious ground floor, made up of dining and living room, has access to a beautiful almost heavenly court yard of luxurious surfaces and rich content. In this area there is a beautiful authentic stone sink, an essential detail of a typical Dalmatian architecture, and a beautiful summer hacienda that has generously hosted the outdoor grill, indispensable for preparation of numerous Dalmatian local grilled specialties. The most attractive treat in this harmonious and balanced space is definitely blue pearl i.e. beautifully designed swimming pool located in the central part of the stone plateau. The area around the pool is decorated with lush vegetation that will provide you with much desired privacy while relaxing in the comfortable sun loungers located at the edge of the pool. If you're a fan of healthy food, you will be extremely pleased with a eco-garden rich with home grown tomatoes, lettuce, chard, onion, parsley ... everything else you will have to discover for yourself.
Villa Stone House is fully air conditioned. The villa has satellite TV, DVD, refrigerator with freezer, stove, oven, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher, washing machine, hairdryer, cot and feeder available upon demand, seating, garden and dining garniture, deck chairs, umbrellas, outdoor fireplace, outdoor shower, pool, summer hacienda, terrace, garden with home grown fruits and vegetables. Villa Stone House has a reserved parking space for all your guests. Distance from the sea is 10 m; the distance from the center is 1 m - situated in center of town of Sumartin.
