This is a beautiful villa dating back to the 1100 with private pool situated in a quiet and isolated location on the gentle hills of the Chianti region, not far from the centre of Florence. This property enjoys wonderful views over the surrounding landscape. Here you will experience a new way of being on vacation. The family motto of the villa's owner, a famous Florentine interior designer is: make our guests feel that they are at home. You will be spoiled and looked after by a helpful staff, a dinner prepared in the tranquillity of the villa. You are sure to experience an especially memorable holiday in an area like Florence rich with history. And, more specifically, in fascinating surroundings, immersed in a fairy-tale garden, amidst the violet of the iris and the red and white of the rose gardens, - carefully designed by the noted architect, Porcinai - which can be admired from the bedrooms and from the whole house for each level of the house there is a large terrace, also ideal for taking a view to the horizon.�The area is the quintessence of everything that is enchanting about Italy – the vast and varied scenery, the food and fine wine, the culture, art and history, the hilltop villages, narrow cobbled streets, grand piazzas, and the passionate people ...
A gazebo provides the perfect area for outdoor dining or for simply spending an evening in the fresh air enjoying one of the spectacular sunsets that this valley offers – its picture perfect vistas appearing to be the artifice of an expert hand. Once the sun has set, you will be left with only stars to keep you company, along with, perhaps, the humming of cicadas on summer nights; timeless and simple elements that in this marvellous setting add to the magic which dilates the senses and sharpens memory, aiding to capture a never-to-be-forgotten moment. Outdoor amities:

The place is also ideal for families with children who can play on the lawn benefiting from the healthy countryside air.
The park contains two homes. La Anna's Limonaia and Anna's. Both owned by the same lady owner, and kept to a high standard by live in maids and gardeners in attendance for all guests needs. Each property is completely private from the other, each with their own secluded swimming pool with Salt Water and parking area, enclosed by fencing with two electric gates and surrounded by 10 hectares of Chestnut woodland, Olive groves and landscaped gardens, with flowering shrubs, and lemon trees. The interior of the villa has been tastefully renovated to create a bright atmosphere, admirably fusing the classical with the modern, while fully respecting Italian cultural tradition.
The bedrooms, naturally bright and endowed with large drapes, are decorated in Tuscan style with all modern facilities. The interior of the villa is characterized by an exclusive atmosphere, bright and welcoming, decorated with special Biedermaier attention being made to elegance and comfort. Recently remodelled preserving all the traditional Tuscan elements but without sacrificing any modern comforts, this residence presents the perfect mix of functional elegance and careful conservation. The red edifice, with its generous windows and large shade trees surrounding it, makes guests feel completely at ease, immersed in an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity. Outdoor furnished areas provide the ideal setting for enjoying a moment in the shade among friends and family on hot summer days sipping a good Chianti, reading a book, savouring a meal of local specialties or just relaxing and having fun.
For more active-minded guests, an invigorating swim or a walk through the splendid Tuscan countryside can be the crowning of an idyllic vacation day. The strictly sand stone floors, the walls painted in pastel hues and the sophisticated antique furnishings complete the decorating scheme. Each bedroom, with its own large bathroom, is unique and finely decorated to satisfy discriminating tastes. The original and carefully decorated interior is graced with a 1100 gothic arch articulating the different living areas. Ground Floor: • Dining room with a very charming atmosphere, and the big Dining table invites you for savouring delightful meals. • The generous living room furnished with big white sofas, beautiful hand-made white linen ,Curtains, precious Biedermaier paintings and mirrors and an opened marble fire place , goes directly to a large terrace overlooking an amazing scenery offering the view of the ancient watch-tower appreciating a breathtaking moment. • A lovely hand-painted trompe l'œil Family room, where the eye dances over delightful touches. • Modern and well equipped kitchen with all that occurs. American fridge, five flames, oven, microwave, espresso machine, coffee machine, water heater etc… • Powder room (toilette and hand-wash).

Local Amenities and Activities
Anna�s is located in the Chianti area only 20 minutes downtown (Florence), 15 minutes from the golf court Ugolini, 15 minutes from the tennis court Piazzale Michelangelo, in th small town of San Donato you will find a nice bar where to take your first cappuccino and where to buy bread, cheese, milk, wine even on Sunday morning. Moreover only 7km far from the villa there is a big Supermarket where you can buy all that you may need. Not far from the Villa you can find many nice and typical Tuscan restaurants where you can taste from the simple pizza and pasta to the extremly gourmet food for the reals connaissieurs. This area is famous also for the excellent wineries in the Chianti area, the Villa boasts a strategical location for day trips to Siena, Lucca, San Geminiano, the seaside of Viareggio, Pisa and, only 1, 30h by train, Rome.

Coming from Florence nord or the Airport leave the highway A 1 at exit Florence Sud. Follow the road to the exit Bagno a Ripoli. Please notice all signs indicating Bagno a Ripoli till you enter the little village. Follow the road up the hill, pas Osteria Nuovo and enter San Donato in Collina. At the first junction, on the corner is the local bar, turn right and pass the cemetery on the right side. After 300 m end of the village, you reach a junction where you take the way to the left and follow the dust road up the hill. On the top of the hill, approx. 1500 m from the junction you reach a side road to the left and an indication Il Fico. LA Limonaia. Here you are.

The servants to the Villa live in an independent house, the main Villa has absolute privacy.
