Further details The development is beach side with the apartment just 5-10 minutes stroll to the beach. There is a wide selection of international restaurants within walking distance. There are shops and supermarkets within a few minutes walk. Winter months are ideal for golfers and there are plenty of courses within a 15 minute drive of the apartment. The closest are Guadalmina South, Atalaya, Marbella Club and El Paraiso (5-10 min drive.). Summer months are very hot and it's a fantastic location for a summer holiday.� Activities in the area include Golf, Hiking, Nightlife, Scuba diving, Shopping (Puerto Banus, Marbella), Sightseeing tours (Ronda, Marbella, Gibraltar, Granada) Sunbathing, Swimming pool, Tennis Club 5 min drive. The apartment is situated between Marbella and Estepona close to the town of San Pedro de Alcantara. The development is next to the luxury Crowne Plaza, Estepona hotel which offers facilities for non residents (gym, spa, indoor/outdoor pool, pool bar, restaurants.) It is a 10 minute drive to glitzy Puerto Banus. Local towns for sightseeing are Estepona, San Pedro d'Alcantara and Marbella (10-15 minutes drive). Plenty of local amenities within walking distance of the apartment, so car hire is not essential. Good public transport service and taxis. Estepona is a typical Spanish town and offers a beautiful tree lined promenade and excellent harbor area with some lovely cafes. There are many tapas bars in the town and some excellent restaurants along the sea front. Marbella Old town and the area around Orange square is a fantastic place to enjoy a freshly squeezed orange juice or a coffee. Ronda is a traditional Spanish village in the mountains and is approximately 45 minutes away. Seville is approximately 2 hours drive and the Alhambra Palace at Granada is spectacular and within a 2.5 hour drive. Selwo adventure park is only a 10 minute drive away towards Estepona and the water park at Fuengirola is within 30 minutes of Benamara.
Coast/Beach There are many safe, sandy beaches near to Benamara. Heaven beach Guadalpin beaches are family friendly and offer entertainment and water sports. Plaza beach at Puerto Banus has a dance music daily in the summer months. Nikki Beach (Marbella) and The Ocean Club (Puerto Banus) are great beach party venues, and only a short drive away. San Pedro and Estepona towns and beaches are ideal for families. Benamara beach (5 min walk) is shingle/pebble in places, recommend wearing beach shoes.
Golf Golf is a major part of life on the Costa Del Sol and the warm climate makes it ideal to play throughout the year. There are more than 50 golf courses to choose from and buggies are available for hire. Travel 68km from Malaga airport 59km from Gibraltar airport Malaga airport is the most convenient and has a good choice of flights (approx 45mins drive.) Gibraltar is also an option and is approximately 1 hour's drive. Many airlines serving both airports including Easyjet, British Airways, Monarch, TUI and Ryanair. Good selection of car hire companies at Malaga airport. Car hire is advised, though not essential. Can arrange airport transfers.

Drive on N340 / A7 motorway direction Malaga. Follow signs to Malaga, in Estepona take road to San Pedro de Alcantara on the N340, Benamara is on KM 168 between Estepona and San Pedro.
Malaga Airport (AGP)
Distance: 42.25 MI/68.0 KM SOUTH EAST to Hotel
Take A7 direction to Cadiz. Pass Marbella and San Pedro de Alcantara and 4 km after San Pedro make a U Turn at Cancelada. Drive back towards San Pedro and after 1 km you will see the Hotel Crowne Plaza on your right hand side. Take the next exit and follow the signs to the hotel.

Booking notes 25% non-refundable booking deposit payable upon confirmation of the booking. Remaining balance to be paid 6 weeks before arrival. Refundable security deposit of �200 payable with final rental payment - refunded within 2 weeks of departure subject to satisfactory inspection and return of keys. This payment is separate from the cost of renting the villa and is to cover any damage that may occur (fair wear & tear accepted.)
