We operate a small bar next to the pool where you can find a great selection of refreshing drinks, coffees, juices, and also a nice selection of light snacks.The "Roula Villa" is located just a short distance from the main square of Perissa, and here you can find a supermarket, restaurants, tourist shops and many others. The coastal resort of Perissa is one of the most popular in Santorini, and is located in the southern part of the island. It is here that you will find the famous "Black Sand" beach - a beautiful beach full of tiny black sand and pebbles that we formed after the huge volcanic eruption thousands of years ago.The beach is a perfect one to head to during the summer months, as its geographical position means that it is protected from the strong summer winds that pass through the Aegean each year.Perissa is a very well developed resort, and as well as offering a range of accommodation such as "Roula Villa", you can find a great selection of tavernas and restaurants along the coast where you can enjoy a range of tasty cuisine and fresh sea food. There are also a number of cafe bars operating here where you can enjoy a cool refreshing drink.As well as the entertainment and beautiful beach, some other highlights of Perissa include the inspiration 5 storey church of the Holy Cross. This church was rebuilt in the mid 1950s on the same spot as the original church that once stood here.Perissa makes a great base from which you can visit some of the other beautiful areas of Santorini. One of the parts of the island that all visitors should head to is the capital town of Fira.

Getting from Santorini (Athinios) Port to Roula VillaBy Local Bus When you get off of the ferry you will see several buses. One will be marked with “Local Bus.” It costs 2.20 Euros per person and will take you to Fira where you will have to change buses. When you get to Fira, you will find another bus that is marked “Perissa” which you will need to take. This bus will cost an additional 2.20 Euros per person and will make several stops along the way to Perissa. You will need to get off at the very last stop and this should be announced on the bus. Walking from the Perissa Bus Stop (~5 minutes)Once you have gotten off of the bus go towards the beach and follow the beach road. You will need to make your first right. When you reach the stop sign, you will need to go right. Once you have reached the main square of Perissa (that includes the Church of Perissa), there will be two roads on the opposite side of the square. Once is paved road and the other is a gravel road, you will need to take the gravel road. At the end of the gravel road take a right on the paved road and Roula Villa will be on the right hand side. Direct Shuttle or Prearranged TaxiOnce you get off of the ferry find the tourist office marked “Holiday Tour Office” (the building is painted in yellow). The Holiday Tour Office can arrange a direct transfer to Roula Villa for 5 Euros per person. A private taxi is also available for 20-25 Euros but you will need to email us to confirm availability. If you should choose the private taxi, the driver will meet you at the airport with your name on a sign once you have retrieved your baggage.
