You can also go horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking & off road cycling. Of course you can also go golfing, fishing or play tennis. And the Mediterranean coast with its family-friendly beaches is just 60 M away. There are also many amusement & adventure parks for children, fun museums (the famous Haribo sweet factory is just 16 M from us!) and events for kids. Address3, Impasse du Ruisseau, Mégier, Languedoc-Roussillon, France Accommodation & Outdoor Amenities� The Villa’s outdoor facilities: � The Villa is surrounded by a typically Mediterranean walled garden (450 m2) with its palms, olive trees, rose laurel and lawn (60 m2) adjacent to a large sunny terrace (150 m2). The family-sized swimming pool (9m x 4m) is equipped with an alarm allowing you to relax whilst your children play safely nearby. � During a hot day by the pool you can benefit from the covered veranda as well as the sheltered and vine shaded p�tanque court with its swing, children's play-house, table and patio-chairs. � What would a family holiday be without a barbecue? You can celebrate this long-standing holiday tradition under the covered barbecue & bar area with log fire (firewood & kindling provided), gas cooker & gas griddle, and to make things easier all-round, the area also contains a hot-water sink, a fridge freezer and patio heater. � In order to enjoy the Mediterranean sunshine to the full, there is a selection of comfortable deck chairs, a hammock as well as garden furniture, pool mattresses with air pump and parasols at your disposal. �There is in addition an outdoor WC available. � To fully put your mind at ease, the courtyard with its electric gate & videophone allows secure and private parking for up to 3 vehicles and the house is equipped with an anti-burglar alarm, smoke-detectors, fire-extinguisher and 2 basic 1st aid kits. � The Villa inside: � The ground floor of the Villa contains a fully-fitted, large designer kitchen equipped with all modern comforts, including Godin gas stove, cooker & deep fryer, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, microwave, TV and HiFi (We are happy to send you a full inventory of the house if you would like). � Adjacent to the kitchen you will find a spacious dining room with its open fireplace, which can easily accommodate a large group of people for lunch or dinner. You will be able to relax in the classy and cosy lounge, warming your feet by the wood burning stove, whilst enjoying a movie with the home-cinema (55 inch flat screen TV with surround-sound, HiFi & satellite TV). There is also free and unlimited WIFI available for laptops or phones with suitable apps and telephone with free calls to French landline & mobile numbers. � For little household chores, a laundry/utility room, fully fitted with washing machine (8 kg), dryer, iron plus ironing board, vacuum cleaner as well as other household essentials are at hand. The ground floor also provides a comfortably-sized shower room with toilet.� � The first floor of the Villa encompasses five spacious bedrooms that can comfortably accommodate a maximum of 13 people (4 double rooms, plus 1 large room/dormitory with 1 double bed and 3 single beds). Each of the rooms is tastefully decorated with lots of light, colour and charm. �They are fitted with plenty of wardrobe space and two of the larger double rooms have wall-mounted flat-screen TVs. There is also an additional spacious shower-room and separate toilet at your disposal.� � For our toddler-holiday-makers, �we can offer 2 foldable cribs with fitted sheets, 2 high chairs & 2 baby folding chairs (can be attached to tables with adjustable screw- system), as well as bottles, bibs, plates, cups and cutlery for children. On days when you prefer to relax in the comfort of the Villa, there is a choice of games, toys, children's books and DVD's as well as pencils, paper and crafts materials available. � Bed linen, bath towels and beach towels are provided, as well as a choice of table cloths, napkins, tea towels and aprons. � Our additional offers: � Our manageress is fluent in French, English and German and will welcome you upon arrival. She will remain in easy reach throughout your stay and assist you with anything you might require or need to know. � A list of important numbers and practical info as well as maps of the region, info on dining out, interesting places to visit are available to you, and our manageress knowing the region well will be happy to advise you on where to go. The garden and pool are regularly maintained. � If you would like to savour our local produce, we can deliver directly to your doorstep fresh farm eggs (we‘re on a first name basis with the hens), vegetables and seasonal fruit directly from producers.*
Local Amenities and Activities� Through its geology, the countryside of the Gard Proven�al is dominated by rivers, sweeping valleys and deep canyons dug into the limestone hills over millennia.� � And so it offers a plethora of related pastimes such as swimming, canoeing, kayaking, white-water rafting, caving for adults and children, rock climbing and hang gliding (tandem or alone). � � You can equally go horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking & off road cycling. Many stables offer rides on ponies or horses trained especially for children. How about renting a quad bike? �Of course you can also go golfing, fishing or play tennis.�
