A magnificent villa, with ever changing 180 degree views of the unique bay itself, Robberg Peninsula, the wetlands and the wild ocean beyond. This designer house is situated on the cliff top in the secure, luxury estate of Whale Rock Ridge. A mere 400 metre walk to the famed Robberg beach. The entrance to the house – through giant handcrafted double doors, leads past an enchanting, sheltered garden courtyard to the entertainment and living areas – every room with a superb sea view. In addition to a charming stand alone bedroom with indoor and outdoor showers, this floor comprises an immense, open plan entertainment area One section is made up of a dining area, snug winter lounge, library, awesome modern central fireplace, and a large couch and ottoman living area, and the other section, a more casual, beautiful seating area and truly magnificent free-form ancient yellow wood bar – used for casual meals, wine tasting, TV viewing and enjoying the amazing views. This entertainment area opens two ways – onto the pool deck and onto the enclosed courtyard. Both of these outdoor areas offer dining tables and plenty of seating, Weber braais, a Mexican cooking oven, and a fire pit. The cook’s kitchen, cold room, pantry, scullery, enormous garage and guest WC are also on this floor. The upper floor with its unsurpassed views, hosts two main bedrooms, each with sitting areas, private balconies, and full designer en-suite bathrooms opening onto the roof terrace. The terrace has a dining area, cozy couch corner and wooden relaxer chairs. Also on this floor, with a separate entrance, is a flat let with shower room and full kitchenette, ideal for the teens or overflow guests. The bottom floor comprises two large full bedrooms en- suite, opening onto a private indigenous garden, all with stunning views as well as a kitchenette. Extras- superb Egyptian cotton linen, beach chairs, umbrellas, pool towels, 2 outdoor showers, bar fridges, ADSL connection, fire place in the main bedroom, DSTV, herb and vegetable garden, books and mags, good parking, excellent security, amazing walks, access to tennis courts, bird and whale watching . There are 6 bedrooms in total, sleeping 12 people. Downstairs bedroom has 2 single beds which can be converted to a king size bed. The pool area is not toddler friendly.
