Villa Filikos is a modern, tastefully decorated 2 bedroom detached villa in Kalathos, Lindos, set in beautiful gardens, with a variety of Mediterranean plants and trees, and a private swimming pool, is the perfect setting for a peaceful, relaxing holiday. The villa has a fully equipped kitchen which leads through to a lounge/dining area. Both areas lead out to the pool and patio, where there is ample room for sunbathing. The outdoor kitchen is a must for 'al fresco' diners, and perfect for pre dinner drinks at the bar area overlooking the sea. A large outdoor dining table completes the picture for evening 'in'! The master bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobes and patio doors lead on to the private balcony, with stunning views over the bay of Kalathos and along the coast to Haraki, The second bedroom has twin beds, fitted wardrobes and windows overlooking the pool and sea, and the garden at the rear. Both bedrooms have air conditioning units. The first floor bathroom has a full size bath with overhead shower, sink and WC.
The lounge area has comfortable seating for watching television and relaxing. A dining table with 6 chairs overlooks the garden and sea. A WC is also on� the ground floor. Sunbeds and sun chairs around the pool and garden areas gives you lots of choice for sun or shade. Ample parking for cars or bikes.

Local Amenities and Activities

Villa Filikos is� located in a prime location for exploring the beautiful island of Rhodes.
To the south, just 5 minutes drive away,is the historical village of Lindos, with it's magnificent acropolis, and the beautiful St. Paul's bay, home to the church of St. Paul, the most popular wedding venue in Rhodes. Lindos boasts so many bars an restaurant's, all with roof top terraces, you'll find every taste catered for here.
Continue south and you'll find the lively resort of Pefkos, with many family activities available and beautiful clean beaches. Pleasure flights operate from here for that unusual view of the area.
Lardos is best visited at night, many restaurants surround the square, and throughout the summer, Greek dancing festivals are held here.
Further south is Kiotari� with a fabulous water sports centre. Drive along the coast to the southernmost point of the island, you'll find Prassonissi, a wind surfers paradise! �
Drive north and the village resort of Haraki, with it's gently sloping beach and numerous bars and restaurants is well worth a visit. Also, Agathi beach, or Golden� Sand' as it's known locally, is located close by.
Further north is the town of Archangelos, a busy, bustling place, but worth a visit. From here towards the coast is the secluded, tranquil resort of Stenga. Wind down the mountainside to this delightful village with a long sandy beach and a cluster of bars an restaurants.
Tsambika beach is further north, a vast expanse of sand with dunes and dramatic cliff faces. Water sports, bars an restaurants make this beach perfect for a day out.
Further North is Afandou, where the only golf course on the island is located, Faliraki, a busy resort, especially in the evening, but a clean, quiet, sandy beach can be enjoyed through the day. A large water park can also be found here. Carry on to the north and you come to Rhodes Town. A fabulous selection of shops and stores and the port with yachts of all sizes awaits you here. The Old Town is full of history, and shops and restaurants abound inside the old walls.� Day trip boats sail from here to Turkey and Symi,
Drive inland and visit the mountain villages of Sianna and Embonas. Fabulous views and very friendly locals, perfect for an afternoon away from the beach!! There is also a freshwater reservoir for any fishing enthusiasts. The east coast of the island is where you can get the water taxi to Halki, a tiny inhabited island with small beaches, and a quaint harbour front village, very quiet and peaceful.

Closer to home, we have a well stocked supermarket which also has a butchers, and fresh bread is baked daily. There is a small bakery, with fresh pies and cakes,� a pharmacy, bars, petrol stations and car hire, all in the village of Kalathos.

Check in / Check out times

The villa will be available from 4pm on your arrival day until 10.30am on your departure day. Late departures or early arrivals may be arranged if possible.

Policies & Disclaimers

Reservations will be held for 3 days to allow for flight availability. A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm bookings. The balance to be paid six weeks prior to arrival. A refundable €150 security/damage deposit is also applicable, this can be paid at time of booking or in cash on arrival. All payments received will be acknowledged immediately by e-mail or phone.
