Villa AbyssThe living space and pool area in this unique one bedroom villa is all on one level with access via a wheelchair friendly pathway which leads through the gardens to the car parking space. There is great emphasis on outdoor living, with much indoor space flowing through to the external terrace. The stylish outdoor dining area is covered by a specially designed pergola which also extends over part of the pool providing some shade but also allowing sunlight through. The private infinity pool has full width Roman steps overlooking the lush olive groves towards the stunning blue Aegean Sea. Throughout the villa, there are many large "picture" windows making the most of the natural sunlight and providing panoramic sea views from any room. The innovative architectural concept of this villa means that the living and sleeping areas are in two separate buildings with access to each other via an adjoining stone walkway. The living area is compact but modern with extensive natural stone features that extend right up to the eves of the building. In addition, the lounge has a Cimentogonia surface sofa bed suitable for sleeping an extra person. The kitchen area is open plan with stylish and practical Corian work surfaces with an informal dining area and top of the range appliances. Accessible from a large terrace, the master bedroom is open plan with an award-winning COCO Mat double bed and glass partition separating the sleeping space and modern dressing area. The spacious en-suite bathroom has a Jacuzzi bath that faces a private picture window with wonderful sea views. Driving directions (from airport or sea port)
Location & DirectionsYou will be met at Youphoria by either Vassilis or his brother Adonis and shown around your villa. Directions from Heraklion airportIt will take around 2.5 to 3 hours to reach us if you drive slowly. After you have collected your hire car at Heraklion airport, join the highway heading west (it is all sign posted) towards Rethymno and Chania. Keep driving, bypassing Rethymno and Chania heading for Kissamos/Kastelli in the west. Directions from Chania airportFrom Chania airport make your way towards Souda (on the 2nd roundabout follow signs to Souda - Rethymno not Chania City) and meet the highway turning right and heading west bypassing Chania and heading towards Kissamos. You do not exit the highway from Heraklion or Chania at any point. After driving through Kissamos (which is 45 kilometers west of Chania), you pass a ferry port on the right. From there, continue to the next gas station on your left (it is a red one - Silk Oil) and you will see the villas around 300 meters away on the hillside to your left. You cannot miss them!
