On the other hand, Loussios as well as the nearby Alfeios offer white-water activities (rafting, hot-dog, hydrospeed). The watery arcadian scenery has other natural beauties like the lake of ladona, the waterfalls of Mountain Parnonas, as well as the beautiful kynourian seashores. The fir-tree forest of Menalon and the endangered forest of Parnonas are also areas of superb natural beauty.

The four ancient theatres of mantinia, Orchomenos, Tegea and megalopolis, the Temple of Alea Athena in Tegea, Ancient Gortyna, the Lyceon Mountain, the archaeological area of Eva in Kynouria are traits of the ancient heritage of Arcadia. The new Arcadia was the heart of the Revolution. The Conquest of Tripolitsa was the first great Greek victory during the liberation struggle.Libovissi, the homeland of the family of Kolokotronis, the Castle of Karytaina, the historical monasteries of Loussios, the gunpowder mills of Dimitsana, Astros, where the 2 nd National Assembly took place, are just a few of the monuments of this glorious era. The museum of Alexandras Papanastasiou is located in Levidi and the unique open air museum of water power in Dimitsana. Out of the many monasteries of Arcadia, the Monastery of Phisosophos, of Prodromos and Aimyales in the ravine of Loussios, Elona, Loukou and Malevi in Kynouria, the monasteries of Kernitsa, Kaltezes and Ampelaki stand out. The temple of Agia Photini in Mantinia has a special architectutal interest.
