Access is by a private road. It has a private fenced garden with it's own private swimming pool (8 by 4 metres), outside furniture and a barbeque. The property is on three levels and it is ideal for families or large groups, with generous accommodation for eight people. The style of decoration is characteristic of the area, with many interesting pieces of furniture, all combining to create a relaxing setting for a holiday surrounded by nature. On the ground floor there is a large living room, a utility room, wood store and laundry with washing machine. On the first floor there is a sitting room with a large fireplace, a dining room and fully equipped kitchen (oven, fridge, freezer and dishwasher), a bedroom with a double bed and a room with two beds, and a bathroom with a shower. On the second floor there is another bathroom with a shower, a landing area with a double beds and a large bedroom with a double bed.

Location is ideal for family holidays, with great green garden where to relax while children play in the swimming-pool or for walking and bike excursions. The owners have mountains bikes available for guests who would like to explore the mountain roads and paths around Antica Tenuta Le Piane. Cerro is in the heart of Sibillini National Park and offer a wide range of possibilities for those who love walking excursions, trekking, nordic walking.

Local Amenities and Activities

Marche region, where Villa Cerro is situated, is also very well known for its many centres of artistic and culture interest: Recanati, Macerata, Fermo, Camerino, Ascoli Piceno.

For lovers of swimming there is a 25metre covered swimming pool 6km away in Sarnano.

Tennis courts are in Amandola and Sarnano, 3 km far.

Horse riding is available at the stables “Le Querce”, only 10km away from Tenuta.

In Petriolo there is a golf court with 9 holes, 25 km far.

For those who love skiing the ski, in wintere there are slopes of Sarnano-Sassotetto are just 15km away from Tenuta.

In Sarnano there are Thermal Baths established in 1933. The different cures available include inhalation, bathing in the sulphuric waters and mud baths, as well as beauty treatments and rehabilitative treatments.

In summer guests can enjoy the “green Riviera of the Picena”, the beautifully appointed beaches that line the Adriatic. The nearest are Porto San Giorgio and Pedaso, approximately 50km away. Less than 80km away is the town of San Benedetto del Tronto, the most important of the towns along the Marche Riviera, with its fabulous “Riviera of Palms”.

For those who enjoy shopping, there are many factory outlets for the big names in Italian design, for example: Armani (a Matelica), Nazareno Gabrielli (a Tolentino), Tod’s (a S.Elpidio a Mare)

Changeover day is on Saturday, with arrival between 4pm and 7pm (for late arrivals, please contact the owner). Guests are asked to vacate their accommodation by 9am on saturday morning.

Airports / Sea Ports / Other Transport

Villa Cerro is at the heart of Le Marche in the province of Ascoli Piceno, near the border to the province of Macerata, between two little towns: Amandola and Sarnano. The most direct means of transport is the car, but the bus and train connections to the area are good. Those guests who don't wish to use a car can pay for transfer from the airport to Villa Cerro, or from the nearest train or coach station.

Nearest airport is in Ancona, 70 km far, Airport "Raffaello Sanzio".

There are coach services to both Amandola and Sarnano - the nearest towns to Tenuta Le Piane - with regular public bus services from Ascoli, Macerata, Fermo and Porto San Giorgio.

The nearest stations to Tenuta are Urbisaglia-Sforzacosta (approximately 30km away) which is on the Fabriano-Civitanova line; and Ascoli Piceno, connected to the Adriatic line at San Bendetto del Tronto.

Driving directions (from airport or sea port)

ACCESS FROM NORTH (Milan/Bologna) Driving on A14 motorway, take the exit “Civitanova Marche” then follow directions to Macerata along the highway SS77. Take the Macerata West - Sforzacosta exit and follow the signs for the SS78 to Sarnano. Drive through Sarnano, after about 6km turn right for TACCARELLI, continue for a kilometre, passing Taccarelli until a y-junction, turn left and follow the road for one kilometre to Tenuta Le Piane. Alternatively exit from the motorway at “Pedaso”, follow the SS433 (or SP238) towards Comunanza and then take the SP 237 to Amandola. Go through Amandola, follow the road to Sarnano-Macerata, and turn left after 3km towards TACCARELLI. Continue for a kilometre, passing Taccarelli until a y-junction, turn left and follow the road for one kilometre to Tenuta Le Piane.

ACCESS FROM SOUTH (Pescara/Bari) Driving on A14 motorway take the exit for “San Benedetto del Tronto”. Follow the ring road RA11 towards Ascoli Piceno and then take the SP 235. Once you arrive in Ascoli take the SS4 Salaria towards Mozzano. From there turn off onto the SP 237 towards Comunanza and Amandola. Go through Amandola, follow the road to Sarnano-Macerata, after 3km there is a turn off on the left to TACCARELLI. Follow this road, after one kilometre there is a y-junction, turn left and after one kilometre you will find Tenuta Le Piane.

ACCESS FROM ROME Take the SS4 Salaria towards Ascoli, until you reach Mozzano. There turn onto the SP 237 towards Comunanza and Amandola. Go through Amandola, follow the signs to Sarnano- Macerata. After about 3km turn left towards TACCARELLI, follow the road for one kilometre until a y-junction, turn left and follow the road for one kilometre to Tenuta Le Piane. Policies & Disclaimers

Villa Cerro is self-catering. Booking can be made for a week, or multiples thereof. In winter and spring weekend bookings are welcomed (minimum of three nights). The final cleaning of the accommodation at the end of the stay is included in the price. Animals are welcome. Villa is completely supplied with kitchen equipment (oven, fridge, freezer, kettle...), linen, towels (with weekly changes), tv sat, and everything necessary for your stay. The swimming pools are fully supplied with umbrellas, sun loungers and cushions. You can also find some useful accessories as hair-dryer, umbrella, flashlight.
