Accommodation is spread spaciously over three floors. There are four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, one with Jacuzzi bath and shower, the other with shower, additional WC, an open-plan kitchen, dining area and lounge, a sun terrace and garden by the pool, and a fabulous sea-view roof terrace equipped with sunloungers, table and chairs, swing seat and barbecue. All furniture is of a high standard and you will feel at home, and at peace, from the moment you walk in through the patio doors. Designed with the balmy Aegean summer in mind, this villa is fitted with air-conditioning in the lounge and two of the bedrooms, and as well as full interior furniture, also has a complete set of patio furniture on the roof terrace - tables, chairs, sunloungers and barbecue, as well as sunloungers on the roof and down by the swimming pool. Used as a full-time residence when not rented out, it is furnished to a high standard and is well-equipped, particularly the kitchen. Floors throughout this four-storey property are ceramic tiled. At the entrance level are the lounge, the breakfast area, the kitchen and a downstairs WC and shower room. The first and second floor each offer one twin bedroom, one double, and a family bathroom - the first floor with a shower, the second with Jacuzzi and shower, and on the top floor is the roof terrace with its glorious views of Akbuk Bay. The villa is surrounded by a garden filled with flowers and fruit trees, and the sun terrace overlooks the pool which is for the exclusive use of the villa. The villa is surrounded by an attractive garden and has its own swimming pool and sunbathing area. The roof terrace offers panoramic views overlooking the village of Uslu, the beach, and the sea, as well as mountains to the west and south. Uslu village offers a small but perfectly formed slice of the real Turkey - it is a peaceful residential village that comes to life in summertime with visitors looking for sun, sand, nature, and an authentic atmosphere.

Local Amenities and Activities

The cafes in the village offer real Turkish cooking, there is a travelling market where you can stock up on fresh fruit and vegetables grown locally, and holidaymakers picnic on the beach or in the nearby meadows. If you're looking for something a little more lively, the famous beach club Sahte Cennet is just down the road, along with a number of lively bars that are as well attended by Turkish tourists as overseas holidaymakers - a sure sign that they are worth a visit! There is a local bus service travelling from Uslu to the bigger resort of Akbuk in one direction, and Altinkum in the other - there you can find hustle and bustle if you want it, as well as even more beaches, attractions and activities. Or you may wish to hire a car so you can get off the beaten track, and visit the nature reserve at Bafa Lake, ancient Herakleia and Labranda, or the wine village at Sirince!

The nearest customs office is at Altinkum and as of July 2008 there is a ferry service running between Altinkum and Kos throughout the summer. Ferries also operate into Izmir port from Brindisi in Italy, which is a popular option for people travelling to Turkey through Europe by car. It is also possible to enter Turkey via the Greek and Bulgarian borders north of Istanbul, close to Edirne.
