The hotel has 8 rooms, every room has his own name: Buongiorno (Good morning), Soldato (Soldier), Fiori (Flowers), Mago (Magician), Velieri (Boats), Francese (French), Inglese (English), Colori (Colors).

Every room has his own bathroom with shower.

The rooms can be double room with king size bed, or twin rooms with 2 single beds. Rooms are very bright because nice windows allow the sun to enter, and from where they can see either the roofs of the village and the valley or the medieval church behind us. All rooms are non-smoking rooms. One triple room.

In each room there is a full equipped bathroom with shower and hair-dryer; flat screen tv, safe, .individually controlled air conditioning/heating system. For those who dislike air conditioning, silent blades will refresh your room in the summer evenings. Free Wi-fi connection available in all rooms.

A nice and bright restaurant is available for the guests for breakfast and dinner. Dinner is reserved only to customers of the hotel that can enjoy a real full tuscany meal prepared with passion and genuine ingredients.

A nice sunny and flowered terrace-garden is also available in summer where people can enjoy a drink or have breakfast or dinner served outside with candle-light. They also can relax with a book with the available sunbeds. The terrace is very quiet and the only noises....chirping of birds and....colling of the bell...

Local Amenities and Activities

Locanda la Pieve is locateed in the centre of the Medieval Vllage of Semproniano, one of the many tiny village of Tuscany. The village is very small and can be visited within 1 our walking up and down the various steps, up to the highest point of the hill overlooking for 360° teh territory  up to the seaside which is almost 60km away from the Village.

For those hiking and walking lover here there are many different path to enjoy. Within 3 km you can reach the tiny Village of Rocchette di Fazio, part of the Semproniano Municipality. Rocchette is a very ancient VIllage dated back X Century and maybe more.Small, characteristic, is overlloking the Albegna Valley and its own small Albegna River and teh WWF Bosco dei Rocconi. For bikers we have our garage where to recovery the bike, but please note that the many roads available are not suitable for family, more interested for advanced training semi-professional as teh vary up & down are intersting but hard....

Back from your sightseeing you can enjoy, in sommer period, our terrace/garden for an aperitif and maybe for dinner under the stars.....by candlelights

Major Int'l Airports are Leonardo da Vinci in Rome Fiumicino within 180km/2 hrs drive from South/West.

Getting the Rome/Civitavecchia Highway and drive direction to Grosseto. Arrived in MONTALTO DI CASTRO go further for another 1km, then turn Right to MANCIANO/SATURNIA. Arrived in MANCIANO follow direction to SATURNIA. Arrived in SATURNIA do not enter in the Village but drive for another 1,5 km, then follow the board to SEMPRONIANO. Arrived in SEMPRONIANO we are next to City Hall (Comune).

PISA Airport is almost 220km/2.5 hrs drive. From Pisa Airport rent a car, drive to the HIghWay to LIVORNO/GROSSETO. Follow then to GROSSETO/ROME. Arrived in GROSSETO, take exit GROSSETO EST to SATURNIA/MONTE AMIATA. after the exit of the speedway, follow the sign to ROCCALBEGNA. Arrive in ROCCALBEGNA drive following the sign to SEMPRONIANO/SATURNIA. Arrived in SEMPRONIANO we are just next to City Hall (Comune)

For those which are driving from FLORENCE, take the Speedway to SIENA/GROSSETO. Follow the sign to GROSSETO. Within almost 20km before GROSSETO , you will be near CIVITELLA PAGANICO and drive to SATURNIA/MONTE AMIATA. After exit follow to ARCIDOSSO/SATURNIA and follow to SATURNIA/SEMPRONIANO. Then as above.

RESERVATION can be made with a valid Credit Card number and expiration date, which will not be used in advance but just in case of NO SHOW/ARRIVAL or late Cancellation. Credit Card information is requested after our final CONFIRMATION of Availability of the room/s and dates.

CANCELLATION policy. Cancellation is accepted up to 3 days before arrival (72 hrs before arrival date) in LOW SEASON & MEDIUM SEASON. During HIGH SEASON Cancellation can be accepted up to 5 days before arrival. After the above dates we will charge to the credit card number the first night in LOW and MEDIUM SEASON and 50% of the entire stay in HIGH SEASON.

A valid receipt/invoice we be mailed to your email address to confirm the charge.
