The regional cryptomeria is the focus of the decoration of our Villas, which present themselves with a neat decoration. At the entrance, we have a living room with all the facilities and a small equipped kitchenette. The rooms and suites are spaces that stand out for the magnificent detail of the sculpted elements in the micro-cement, as well as for their amazing view to the garden.

The terraces equipped with comfortable wooden chairs allow you to contemplate the mountain range, the exterior swimming pool and the lake, that receives all the rain water used for irrigation, complementing and building the whole unique scenery.

Placed in a prime location, our restaurant offers you a variety of genuine flavors, achieved with the freshness of our local and seasonal ingredients. 

You can have your breakfast over the wide sandy Santa Barbara beach, tasting the typical products from Furnas (“bolo-lêvedo”) or the special bread from Ribeira Grande.

At lunch, you can enjoy the dazzling view while you try our carefully prepared meals, served with the best local drinks, accompanied by the soothing sound of the waves.

In the end of the day, have dinner enjoying the outdoor spirit, delighting yourself with the delicacies we’ve prepared specially for you.

Local Amenities and Activities

In the Santa Barbara Eco-Beach Resort you can enjoy a wide variety of activities, to practice individually or with the whole family.

Taking advantage of the cool beach waters, you can choose between surf lessons, bodyboard, Sup, snorkeling or a simple kayak ride.

You can also walk more than about half a mile in the sand, surrender yourself to jogging in the beach, or let the sunlight enlighten you with some yoga, as well as trying our pedestrian and bike tours. 

If you’re not in the mood for an adrenaline burst, but you want to explain your little ones the benefits of the farming activity, you can always help in the seasonal activities of our biological farm that supplies our restaurant.

We have also for you some cooking classes, so that you can express yourself at your way and give new life to our famous local ingredients.
