Casa Pauline - 140 sq.mt on two floors- An immaculate, newly refurbished detached country cottage, maintained to a high standard and located beside the owner's house. The property sleeps six people and can be taken by parties of up to seven plus a collapsible cot making 8. Renovated with exposed beams and floor board upstairs. Ground floor: Consists in a large drawing room with an ample supply of sofas and armchairs and a fireplace. The dining area is large, bright and airy with a wooden table that comfortably seats six and direct access onto the terrace through full length glazed door. The homely kitchen is well equipped - microwave, blender. Shower/bath with inclusive WC. Upstairs: 2 double bedrooms + 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (3rd bed possible) + 1 bathroom tub/shower with inclusive WC. Sofabed in the landing. Piano, Hi-fi with CD player, satellite TV, DVD player, standing fans. Air conditioner. Central heating throughout (gas and electricity included in price. The garden in the rear is for exclusive use of guests and comes with patio furniture. Sheltered barbecue, perfect for eating out in the shade. A handy shed attached to the house is useful for storing bicycles. Casa Lucchese (240 sq.mt on two stories) can sleep 10 people and has an infant cot available. On the ground floor the main entrance of the house takes you directly into the open-plan living/dining area with wood burning fireplace and a stone staircase.The views from the house are absolutely stunning, with all the windows framing a picture of the lovely Sicilian countryside at its best.The spacious interiors have been restored to a very high standard, in an authentic country style and tastefully decorated with an interesting mix of furnishings and antiques. One double bedroom downstairs, a lobby leads to a bathroom with shower, behind a glass door a fully equipped kitchen stocked with pots, pans, cutlery, glassware, coffee-pot, food processor, dishes,microwave,cooker, hob, fridge, freezer etc. The property is fully equipped for comfortable self-catering, the appliances are new. Housekeeping (including linen, towels and blankets) is provided. Satellite television, radio/cassette and cd & DVD player are provided. Washing machine (clothes are line dried, of course) and ironing board. The downstairs area opens into the furnished terrace with stunning view over the small medieval Baglio di Lucchese. The first floor is under a sloping roof with exposed beams and floor boards. A flight of steps takes you on to a large landing with hand-crafted wrought wood balustrade.The upstairs boasts a delightful view of the mountains, it consist in 3 large double bedrooms with beautiful view over the valley below. A lobby leads you to the bathroom (with tub).Air conditioning and central heating. The property has free-standing fans. Single beds can be added to the double and twin bedrooms.The furniture is very comfortable and in keeping with the rustic character of the original farmhouse. A lot of light comes in through the windows.Though full countryside, you may reach the coast in only 20 minutes, where you may find several beaches.Welcome basket with organic olive oil, vinegar, fruits, tea, coffee, jam, honey, sugar, salt,orange juice, butter, cheese, brioches and bread. This property is perfect for those who love the country but do not want to renounce to the fun of a good swim in the blue sea of Sicily

Sciacca is a fishing town  situated on the famous archeological road between Selinunte and Agrigento in Sicily, is one of the oldest towns in the island.Thermal spa, fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling, biking, trekking. Boat trips can be taken from the harbour
The real heart of the town centre is steeped in history and ancient architecture of Moorish, and baroque style, ancient alleyways and courtyards.  A labyrinth of  houses and  streets, some of which can be narrow enough to fit only a single person at a time.
Throughout alleys and little squares of the port area and the  town center there are many restaurants, which all serve delicious (sea-)food.

From Palermo airport: follow the Motorway A 29, direction MAZARA del VALLO, until the exit CASTELVETRANO, there follow the signs to SCIACCA Once in Sciacca head towards the town centre,only 200 yards of Via Cappuccini, and turn left at the first street light.(Via Toscana 200 yards) goes up. At the end of this street you have a crossroads on your right, take the road on your left at the street lights(Via De Gasperi) towards "Basilica San Calogero". We are on this road (via Monte Kronio is Via De Gasperi with a different name) at only 1 mile from these traffic lights with easy access from the main road, the house sits at 500 Mts. after the restaurant "Le Gourmet". From CATANIA you follow the Motorway A19 dir. PALERMO, Your EXIT is CALTANISSETTA, there you head towards AGRIGENTO, PORTO EMPEDOCLE. Follow  the road ss 115 dir. SCIACCA (60 Km). 
Ignore  the  first exit to Sciacca, carry on to the second exit  (just after the tunnels).
Exit the road 115 and turn all to your right. Head up hill (Via Giotto) turn to the left at the traffic lights (Via De Gasperi) which is our road VIA MONTE KRONIO with a different name. We are 500 Mts. after the restaurant "Le Gourmet".
You will find signposts for "Ristorante Le Gourmet" or "Basilica San Calogero".
