In the countryside of Firenze, in a town in the immediate outskirts of Florence, there’s a charming quaint Tuscan construction surrounded by olives and secular cypress trees. Villa Carol is a renovated independent barn of 100 meters, with a 360° panorama from a green and quiet hill, opening directly over spectacular views of the Tuscan countryside. The Villa is the ideal place for anyone who desires to unite art, history and relaxation in the sweet nature of Tuscany. The original architectural details have been preserved and incorporated into a new, elegant and comfortable design. The barn has been restructured using traditional materials: local stone, exposed wooden beams and Florentine terracotta floors, giving a touch of simple elegance. It is within easy reach of the most famous Tuscan cities: only 20 minutes from Florence, only 10 minutes from Vinci and San Miniato, 30 minutes from Pisa, 50 minutes from Siena, Volterra, Monteriggioni, San Gimignano. Florence Some of the greatest artistic treasures in the world are to be found in Florence’s museums, palaces, and churches. Popular and important sites in Florence include the Cathedral, the Baptistery, the Uffizi, the Accademia, and the Bargello. Wander the ancient city streets until you reach the Arno River, enjoy the Ponte Vecchio, and cross over to the artisan district in the Oltrarno. The Pitti Palace houses vast and varied collections of paintings, silver works, and Renaissance costumes dating from the 15th through the 19th centuries. And there’s plenty to see outdoors: spend a day at the Boboli Gardens or climb the hill to Piazzale Michelangelo and the church of San Miniato al Monte for an enchanting view of Florence.
