THE VILLA Villa Acquaviva dei Mori is an ancient Villa built in the 19th century straight up a sea of the Amalfi Coast.
The Villa has just been renovated, maintaining the architectural features of the building intact.
It has been transformed into a tourists accommodation with all comforts, preserving the special character of historical homes with rich antique and elegant furnishings and majolica tiled floors.
Its four stories are connected by an ancient stairway with artistic inlaid wood handrails and arched windows overlooking the beautiful sea.
At the Villa’s entrance, on the ground floor, you can find Prelude and Overture, which are the reception -with internet point & tourist informations- and the living room with fireplace and ancient library.
Its terraced gardens slope down towards the sea. The property has a private access to the sea by a stairway: one hundred and twenty stone steps runs through bougainvillea terraces and lemon and orange gardens, till it reaches the equipped solariums, the natural caves and a small private pier set in the enchanting inlet of the sea cliff. The Villa is managed directly by the owners who live in independent apartment within the property on the garden floor.
ROOMS All rooms have a breathtaking view just upon the sea with balconies and/or windows, ensuite bathroom with glass mosaic, comfortable hydro shower and/or Jacuzzi and hairdryer, heating, air conditioning, TV flat, internet point, direct dial telephone, minibar, safe, sitting corner.
They all have been elegantly decorated with antique furnishings, precious textile fabrics, hardwood floor and majolica tiled hand made floors.
In the event of the Villa’s exclusive reservation, the maximum guest’s number is 16 people, also including the apartment on the garden floor.
