Villa Daphne consists of two bedrooms, a well-appointed living room and kitchen area. The complex is just 250 meters from the renowned beach of Istron Bay Hotel which has been honoured with the prestigious blue-flag award for 18 years in a row.

The living room is spacious and it combines a sitting room, with a dining area and a well equipped kitchen. It has comfortable lounge furniture; 28” LCD satellite TV, home cinema/stereo, free Wi-Fi Internet connection, telephone and a fireplace.The villa is well insulated and fully air – conditioned. Its orientation (south to southwest) secures the ideal amount of sunshine for the whole season.

Villa Daphne has two comfortable bedrooms with their own bathrooms.The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom with a bathtub. The other bedroom has a bathroom equipped with a shower. Both bathrooms are tiled with white marble.

The large terrace area (100 s.m.), which offers its guests much needed privacy, has an L-shaped private pool, approximately 8x4 s.m., a sunbathing area with a parasol and sun lounges. Those who enjoy dining alfresco can take advantage of the wooden gazebo and the marble table place placed in it (barbecues are available upon request). The patio swing offers a unique view of the now world famous Aegean sunsets.

Local Amenities and Activities

Your villa is just 100-200 m from one of the very best beaches of Crete. 600 m long, with over 300 m sand and pebbles, big enough to allow you to be with people, or chose a more secluded part.

The parasols and umbrellas are provided for free to our guests. Right on the beach, there is a beach bar and a restaurant operating day and night! An ideal place to unwind and enjoy light meals at noon or stylish dining in the evenings.

A very well organized diving school, licensed to award PADI diplomas, operates in our beach.

At the beach, different kind of sea sports are available, i.e canoes, pedalos, ski, wind surfing, etc.

• Distance to: Elounda 20 kms

• Distance to Heraklion airport: 70 kms (Approx 1 hr -1 hr and 10 min)

• Distance to Heraklion port: 75 kms (Approx 1 hr 10 min -1 hr and 20 min)

• Distance to Ierapetra: 25 kms

• Distance to Sitia: 60 kms

Driving directions (from airport or sea port)

Turn right to join the main road. Turn right at the traffic lights 100 m from the exit of the parking. The signpost says “Agios Nikolaos 61, Rethymno”. Move into the left lane and proceed under the bridge to join the national highway. Bear right onto the National Highway signed “Ag. Nikolaos 61”. The sea should be on your left side.

Continue on the highway driving past the following:

- Exit for “Kato Gouves 1, Old National Road”

- Exit for “Port Hersonnisos 6, Kasteli 1”

- Exit for “Stalida, Hersonnisos”

Through the tunnel. On the right side area there is a parking area. Slow down here.

Turn left at the T-junction. The sign says “Agios Nikolaos 38, Stalida 1, Malia 4”. Continue down to the bottom of the hill.

At the T-junction turn right still following the sign for “Agios Nikolaos”. Follow road through Malia

Continue past the following:

The left turn off for the “Palace of Malia” (“Ag. Nikolaos 26”)

The left turn off for “Sisi 2, Vrachasi 5 (Agios Nikolaos 24)”.The speed limit is only 50 kms. SLOW DOWN, there is often traffic control.

Drive through the gorge of Selinari and past the monastery on the right.

Continue through “Vrachasi Tunnel” past the exit of “Latsida, Neapoli 1” and past the exit for “Neapoli Old Road (Agios Nikolaos 13)”.

You will pass a large Shell petrol station and an EKO petrol station & car show rooms on your left hand. The speed limit is only 70 kms here. Slow down, there is traffic control. You are approaching a crossroad with traffic lights.

Turn right at the traffic lights. The signpost is for “Agios Nikolaos 2, straight ahead, Iraklion Old Road, turn left, Ierapetra, Sitia turn right”

Continue to the next crossroads with traffic lights and go straight on signed “Ierapetra 34, Sitia 69”

Proceed through Ammoudara, which has a few tavernas on your right and a beach on the left. Continue passing a large blue sign “Welcome to Kalo Chorio”

Entering Istron Village you will pass the sign “Istro” and continue at the same road through the village.

Cancellations between the booking date and 21 days prior to the arrival date will be charged 12,5%.
