Villa Lemonia is located between the village and the sea, only 25 meters  from the main road, with all kinds of shops and restaurants. The beautiful sandy beach of Agios Pandeleimon is within walking distance (400 meters). Two more of the most fabulous beaches of Crete, Karavostasi and Voulisma are 500-1000m away. All the beaches have been awarded with the blue flag and are maintained by the Municipality.  The ground floor terrace is literally planted in the green of the fertile valley of Istron. Sitting there, you are surrounded by the green and the scents of the orange and the olive trees. The spacious stone flagged terrace (85m2), has a fertile garden area, a dining area (we provide barbecues for dining alfresco),a coffee table and an elegant swimming pool with parasol and sun lounges. It is situated in an olive and orange grove extending without any building from the villa to the sea. The pool terrace is between the trees and the first floor balcony has a clear sea view.  The balcony with a romantic swing and the coffee table have a breathtaking sea view over the green valley.  The remarkably spacious ground floor (over 60 s.m.), is an elegantly tiled and furnished space. It combines the sitting area, with the eating area and a well equipped kitchen plus a marble-tiled WC. The villa has a large terrace and its own private pool. A marble topped-table and benches serves for alfresco dining. Trees and pergolas provide shade and privacy.  It has comfortable sitting furniture; 28” LCD satellite TV, home cinema/stereo, free Internet connection and a fireplace. The living room is large enough to accommodate one or two more people.  A marble staircase leads to the upper floor, where there is a large master bedroom leading to the spacious balcony with the swing and coffee table, a comfortable second bedroom and two bathrooms. The bathrooms are tiled with white marble.The Master bathroom is remarkably large and has a Jacuzzi bathtub, while the other one has a shower niche.  The villa is well insulated and fully air – conditioned. Its orientation (south and west) secures the maximum sunshine, extremely pleasant at the beginning and the end of the season and ideal for a winter stay.

'Villa Lemonia is situated in Istron Village, just 400m from the renowned sandy beach of Agios Panteleimon and 500-1000m from the beaches Karavostasi and Voulisma which have been honoured with the prestigious blue-flag award'.

Apart from swimming and sun-bathing, the beaches offer a large variety of interesting facilities.

Supermarkets, a drug store, cafes and restaurants can be found within the village.

• Distance to Heraklion port: 75 kms (Approx 1 hr 10 min -1 hr and 20 min)

• Distance to Ierapetra: 25 kms

• Distance to Sitia: 60 kms

Driving directions (from airport or sea port)

Turn right to join the main road. Turn right at the traffic lights 100 m from the exit of the parking. The signpost says “Agios Nikolaos 61, Rethymno”. Move into the left lane and proceed under the bridge to join the national highway. Bear right onto the National Highway signed “Ag. Nikolaos 61”. The sea should be on your left side.

Continue on the highway driving past the following:

- Exit for “Kato Gouves 1, Old National Road”

- Exit for “Port Hersonnisos 6, Kasteli 1”

- Exit for “Stalida, Hersonnisos”

Through the tunnel. On the right side area there is a parking area. Slow down here.

Turn left at the T-junction. The sign says “Agios Nikolaos 38, Stalida 1, Malia 4”. Continue down to the bottom of the hill.

At the T-junction turn right still following the sign for “Agios Nikolaos”. Follow road through Malia

Continue past the following:

The left turn off for the “Palace of Malia” (“Ag. Nikolaos 26”)

The left turn off for “Sisi 2, Vrachasi 5 (Agios Nikolaos 24)”.The speed limit is only 50 kms. SLOW DOWN, there is often traffic control.

Drive through the gorge of Selinari and past the monastery on the right.

Continue through “Vrachasi Tunnel” past the exit of “Latsida, Neapoli 1” and past the exit for “Neapoli Old Road (Agios Nikolaos 13)”.

You will pass a large Shell petrol station and an EKO petrol station & car show rooms on your left hand. The speed limit is only 70 kms here. Slow down, there is traffic control. You are approaching a crossroad with traffic lights.

Turn right at the traffic lights. The signpost is for “Agios Nikolaos 2, straight ahead, Iraklion Old Road, turn left, Ierapetra, Sitia turn right”

Continue to the next crossroads with traffic lights and go straight on signed “Ierapetra 34, Sitia 69”

Proceed through Ammoudara, which has a few tavernas on your right and a beach on the left. Continue passing a large blue sign “Welcome to Kalo Chorio”

Entering Istron Village you will pass the sign “Istro” and continue at the same road through the village.

Cancellations between the booking date and 21 days prior to the arrival date will be charged 12,5%.
