     The Villa: The Villa is full of character. All rooms have large proportions and are reburbished in antiques style furniture, featuring red cotto tiles and high vaulted ceilings. Both living area and dining room open onto a paronamic terrace overlooking the old city. All bedrooms are individually furnished, bathrooms have hand painted tiles such as the fully equipped kitchen. This villa is conveniantly located within Taormina, the most admired old city in Sicily, most famous for its architecture, exceptional position on the sea and and film Festival tradition. Taormina's inhabitants are charming and delightful, as well as the excellent local restaurants, bars and antique shops. You can easily reach the seaside through a lovely scenic path, a fenicular or by car all within 20 mn. All main rooms have high vaulted ceilings, red terra cotta tiles and thick walls keeping the rooms fresh all around summer. Both rooms lead directly into a elegantly furnished panoramic terrace including a outside eating area. The Terrace has views on the sea, the old city and ancient theatre. There are 3 bedrooms: 1 confortable double bedroom with ensuite shower, a large twin room, a single room, all individually furnished. The main bathroom has a bath with hand painted tiles. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, a washing machine, microwave, cooker and all necessary kitchen appliances. All necessary china is provided.

Local Amenities and ActivitiesTaormina offers a large selection of shops and boutiques (including many antiques), restaurants, cafes and night clubs . From June to September there are many cultural events organised by Taormina Arte in the Greco-Roman theatre and the Conference Center: Taormina film festival (June), theatre, classic and pop concerts ( July and August). Tennis courts are available within a ten minutes walk distance. The sea and its beaches, 20 mn away, are accessible by car, funicular or by a lovely scenic footpath. There is a Scuba diving school at Isola bella beach. Equally,Mount Etna (15km), Syracuse (60 km) and Eolian Istands(Milazzo Seaport 80 km) are immediately accesible through a conveniant motorway drive
