A swimming pool for adults (12 x 6 metres), and one for children ( 3 x 4 metres) are situated among the olive trees, within a park like area of 22 acres.
Apartments type D have private swimming pool and parking.

Local Amenities and Activities

The range of trails is vast and goes from easy walks of a couple of hours, to more exacting trips for the whole day.
We can provide maps for all the trails, and suggest ones most suitable to your needs and abilities.
In the forests, especially at dusk, it is possible to come across woodland creatures typical of the area, such as porcupine, pheasant, wild boar, deer, badger and many others.
A list of the principle trails in order of duration:
1. to the village of Casole d’Elsa, via the old parish church of Pusciano;
2. to the Sellate stream, the Teschio (shell fossil deposit), to Capretto farmhouse, to Monti farmhouse;
3. to the church at Mensano (11th century °, via Casole d’Elsa;
4. to the forest of Berignone, possibly further on to the ruins of the castle once used by the Bishops of Volterra (called “La Torraccia”); trail of high fauna interest;
5. through the Montagnola Senese;
6. to the Selva farmhouse, up to Cottorniano;
7. to San Gimignano, via Castel San Gimignano;
8. through the Chianti hills;
9. and many more.

Tennis

Golf
Golf course at Colle di Val d’Elsa (12 km), a nine hole course.

Horse riding
Horse back trekking with a guide are organized through company in Siena. The excursions include:
1. pick up and drop off at the hotel;
2. transport to the stables in minibus maximum 8 persons;
3. horse and guide, riding hats;
The excursions travel through areas of historic and naturist interest, horse riding experience is not necessary as the horse are trained to adapt to the riders capacity.

Guided visits
In collaboration with an agency in Siena, we can organize guided daily or weekly visits to the principle centres of cultural interest in Tuscany:
1. visit to Florence and the Uffizi museum;
2. Wine tasting trip to Chianti;
3. trip to the land of Brunello, with wine tasting;
4. wine tasting visit to San Gimignano;
5. Volterra with a visit to an alabaster workshop;
6. trip to Montepulciano and Pienza, with wine tasting;
7. Visit to Siena in a minibus;
8. Visit to the ‘contrada’ museums in Siena.
All the trips (except Siena) with pick up and drop off at the hotel in a minibus, maximum 8 persons.
