Fully fitted kitchen with marble worktops, pantry cupboards, cooker, oven, fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave, toaster, pans, kitchenware, cooking utensils, serving bowls, crockery, glassware, tea towels and access to furnished balcony & garden.

Storage-

Utility store on lower level for iron, ironing board, hoover, mop bucket, broom etc. and lockable storage space.

Living Areas-

Social area with leather seating, coffee table and large flat screen TV, X-box for games, DVD's and audio CD's. Fireplace. Patio doors to balcony and garden. Lake and sunset view. Lockable cloak cupboards. Marble staircase off with wrought iron hand rail.

Unlike most properties on the site there's a huge dining room enabling larger groups to eat together in comfort. The table seats 8 and there's a buffet sideboard from which to serve. There is a docking station for your ipod or MP3 too. Terrace & garden.

Outside-

Each floor incorporates an illuminated outside area.
Lower floor: Covered shaded terrace with table, 4 chairs & Lower Garden with Table Tennis Table and equipment
Ground Floor: Covered shaded balcony with dining table, 6 chairs to Upper Garden where we like to BBQ
1st Floor: Covered shaded elevated balcony with social comfy seating
2nd Floor: Private sun terrace with table and chair set
All our outside areas lend privacy and offer lovely mountain and forest views
There are Turkish BBQ's and grill racks when it's the men's turn to cook - they just have to provide the charcoal and their culinary expertise!
There are 6 sunloungers and parasol for the sole use of our guests.

Local Amenities and Activities

There is a small shop on-site up at Akkaya selling during the day, all the basics that you might require.

Akkaya Garden Restaurant - 10 minute walk from villa - an acclaimed restaurant with waterfall and birds nest tables up in the trees. Needles to say, the food is fantastic, a special place to dine at competitive prices all rounded off with a puff on a turkish water pipe if you so desire.

Dalaman town centre by day is a working town with banks and all kinds of shops serving the local community but at night closes off the main street and with blue flashing lights becomes a totally different place as restaurants take their tables out onto the street and the town comes alive with night time shopping. All restaurants in the area pick up and drop you off free of charge - just ask at time of booking.

Coast/Beach-
Sarigerme - Sandy beach, play area, food, picnics. Hilton Resort & Spa Hotel - a fantastic day out!
Dalyan - riverside town of natural beauty, food, bars, shops, nightclubs and boat trips to Iztuzu beach to see the loggerhead turtles or upstream to Koycegiz, a fishing village, for the thermal waters and mud baths.
Gocek - classy marina for island cruises
Sarsala - Lovely cove used by locals
Olu Deniz - the Blue Lagoon is within 1hr drive and makes a wonderful day trip with watersports.

Golf-
There is a brand new 18 hole golf course planned to open for the 2011 season 30-40 mins away near the Hilton Resort Hotel at Sarigarme beach.

Special interest holidays-
The area provides beautiful nature walks in the forest and around the lake.
There is fishing and lake tours within walking distance and our lake even has it's own private beach with bar! Biking is also very popular and horse trekking can be organised from the stables next to the waterfall restaurant just 10 minutes walk away. For those of you who are a little more adventurous, there is white water rafting on the Dalaman River nearby and jeep safaris. Needless to say, this part of Turkey is steeped in ancient history with many historical sites to visit including the Lycian rock tombs at Dalyan or the ancient city of Kaunos.

Dalaman -for shops, supermarkets, banks and restaurants - 20 mins by car. Gocek - a sophisticated marina, for restaurants, bars, boat trips or gift shopping mins by car.
Sarigerme Beach 30 mins by car.
Iztuzu Protected Turtle Beach - 30 mins by car.
Ortaca - for a wider range of shopping 20 mins by car.
Dalyan - riverside resort - restaurants, bars, night clubs 30 mins by car.
Fethiye - bustling main town in the area 40 mins by car.

Changeover day is flexible and the benefit of 24 hour security up at Akkaya is that any arrival time is acceptable.

Similarly, departure is totally flexible.

Directions:

The villa is approached by car on a road that winds between pine forest trees (detailed directions on request from owner). This is a very scenic drive but the road is not completely tarred in the valley and guests are reminded to drive carefully, as is required with all unfamiliar surroundings.

Car hire is highly recommended for at least a good part of your stay. We can help organise this through our reliable local contacts at the very best rates available. The chaps will meet you at the airport, sort out the necessary documents and then point you in the right direction - you will be just 30 mins from the villa. Alternatively, we can organise at reasonable rates, your transfer to and from the airport and have a car delivered to the villa at your request.

Policies & Disclaimers

Booking notes-
To make enquires or complete a booking on this website and/or contact the owner using the details provided. A 15% of total booking payment is required as a non refundable deposit and the balance must be paid 6 weeks prior to your scheduled departure. Car hire or transfer can be arranged at additional cost - please enquire at time of booking. A security deposit of £150 is needed which will be returned to you on inventory check clearance. The price includes, water supply, electricity, gas bottle, air conditioning, welcome pack.

We provide towels and linen with spares for each bed stored underneath if required. The property is cleaned before and after you leave. Included in the price is a welcome pack just to keep you going until you stock up the fridge, pantry and your bar!

As there are a few steps down to the villa, and the property is built over 4 floors, the property is likely to be unsuitable for those with mobility problems.
