8 double bedrooms with room for more if needed. At a push it can sleep 20 people. plenty of terraces with amazing views. On a good day you can see as far as Africa. The villa consists of main building, pool house and studio apartment on the lower ground floor.

Malaga airport 15-20 mins, Beach 10 minutes, Bus stop stop 3 minute walk, Main Bus & Train station 10 mins. (unless stated all distances are driving distances)

Directions to Los Espartales, Mijas

Leave airport and go straight over the roundabout.

With San Miguel brewery on right stay in right hand lane for around 500m then stay in right hand lane veering right. Sign posted overhead for Algericas / Cadiz / Marbella.

Continue on this road until you pass the BMW Mini showrooms. Stay in right hand lane turning right at the Benalmadena sign. This is the E15 / A7.

Stay on the E15 A7 until km 214 - you will pass cut offs for Torremolinos, Arroyo de la Miel and Benalmadena/Mijas.

At km 214 get into the right hand lane an stay there (inside lane). The motorway splits and you stay to the right.

At km213 the road splits again, you stay in the right hand lane and take the slip road exit to the right signpost Fuengirola/Mijas.

You will arrive at a big roundabout with the A387 Mijas road to your right. Turn right. You will see a sign for Mijas 4km. You are only going about 3km up this road. At the 3rd roundabout you will see Finca San Antonio urbanization on your right. Go straight at the 3rd roundabout and up the hill

The road takes 4 bends - right left right right. On the fourth bend you will see a green bottle bank, yellow plastics bin etc on the right hand side of the road - turn off here, this is Los Espartales. There is a list of the house names to the left of the entrance.

Follow the track until it opens out with 3 options. Slowly, take the track to the right hand side (sign posted for Casa Kumbaya) for about another 500m. Half way along you will arrive at the house with 'Los Almendros' above the door. That's the house!

Now, the driver can exhale and relax.
