          Covas do Barroso Villas is a complex of three villas, two villas with 3 bedrooms in each, with lounge kitchen with granite breakfast bar, shower room with wc and basin, and seperate wc and basin room, large porch and lounge opening onto decking with seating and sunbathing area towards the swimming pool, with views to large gardens and views to mountains. The centre villa consists of four bedrooms, 2 double ensuite and 2 twin rooms, lounge, dinning area, kitchen, seperate shower room with wc and basin, large porch and double doors from lounge onto decked area with outside eating area and sun loungers. From the pool area cross the bridge to the BBQ area overlooking the mountains. The gardens are well kept and provide an ideal secure area for children to play. Villas One and Two are ideal for disabled guests with ramps to decked area. Plenty of car pakring space within the grounds is available. This area is ideal for exploring the Douro and the true portuguese way of life. All bedrooms can be twin or double beds. Each villa is always made up with at least one double room. All linen is provided, beds are made up with duvets, but blankets are also available. We have two travel cots with bedding for small infants. All bathroom towels and pool towels are provided. All kitchens have full size ovens and grills and hobs., Microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machines and plenty of equipment, the villas have been very well equiped to allow for plenty of catering of guests onsite. Lounges have tv, cd pla Orange, Lemon, olive trees in gardens which guests are welcome to pick. Properties are looked after by local portuguese family and are kept to high standard. Local Amenities and ActivitiesVillas are located in the village of Covas do Barroso which boasts a beautiful church, two bars. The Village is 10 minutes drive from the nearest town of boticas which has banks, supermarkets and shops for all your needs. The nearest city is chaves a 30 minutes drive away. The nearest restuarant is a 5 minute drive along with a fantastic bakery, small supermarket with butchery counter and hotel, & petrol station. Check in / Check out timesCheck in times are from 15.00 hrs on arrival day and departure by 10.00 am. Please note that these times are flexible according to departure and arrival of other guests at the time of your booking. Airports / Sea Ports / Other TransportThe nearest airport to the villas is Oporto which is a 1.5 hrs drive. Nearest ferry port is Santander which is a 1.5 hr drive to villas.
